Hi!- An obligatory introduction from a newbie

Hi! I've been reading these forums for awhile and plan on posting LOTS o' questions about the planning profession and trying to do my best to keep my ears open and learn a thing or two. I'm currently a GIS student who would like to transition into urban planning, namely zoning and land use analysis. Thank you so much for this forum!!

Welcome from the Hoosier State along the Ohio River.

Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here?
Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

No. Just some parts wake up faster than others.

    Hello, from Irving, TX!
"We do not need any other Tutankhamun's tomb with all its treasures. We need context. We need understanding. We need knowledge of historical events to tie them together. We don't know much. Of course we know a lot, but it is context that's missing, not treasures." - Werner Herzog, in Archaeology, March/April 2011

Thanks for the welcomes all! Nope, The One, kissing up is what I do naturally, I'm a regular sycophant savant! LOL How is the planning environment in the Bay Area, CJC? I'd love to relocate to that part of the country someday.
