    SECRET SANTA 2007 Edition

    Hello All !!!!!!

Shall I play secretion santa this year. Last year I filled in for Donk and things went swimmingly last year thanks to everyone's cooperation. I will be glad to do to this year as well, that is if you will have me.

    Previous years.

    2006

    2005

    2004

Here's how it works. If you want to send and receive a "Secret Santa" gift, PM me with your specifics and your answers to the "Secret Santa Questionnaire". The questionnaire provides your prospective secret santa with information so an informed gift choice may be made.

SO WHO'S IN THIS YEAR ?????

    Count me in.

Where is this "Secret Santa Questionnaire" that you speak of ?
    Oddball
Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves?
Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here?
Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?
    From Kelly's Heroes (1970)

Are you sure you're not hurt ?
No. Just some parts wake up faster than others.
Broke parts take a little longer, though.
    From Electric Horseman (1979)

It's funny that you should ask. I seem to have misplaced last year's questionnaire. But I'm sure one will turn up.

    I'm in for the fun.
I'm sorry. Is my bias showing?

Let's not be didactic in this profession, because that is a path to disillusion and irrelevancy.

See I knew it would turn up. Yes, unless someone has any better suggestions, let's go with it. I'm sorry, I haven't saved your answers or anyones personal information from last year, so we'll have to start over.

    I am so in!

Last year I sent to Whose Yur Planner and received from Zoning Goddess.

"Oh, that is all well and good, but, voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country."

If you are a newbie, don't be shy. We had several newbies last year and it worked out great.

I'll bring it up, like we do every year. Spending limit. I have found that a stated spending limit is a waste of time. I myself have not been able to spend less than $25 and often approach $50. I have recieved some nice thoughtful gifts over the years and the gift I received last year was fabulous. Mud Princess did me right last year. Just do what seems reasonable to you.

Such fun. I've been on mass holiday card (snail mail) lists in the past, and it's amazing how much a few cards help me get through "the holidays." (As long as ya don't open them in the car...sometimes filled with surprise glitter.)

I added my name and street address to the questionnaire.

Remember this motto to live by: "Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO- HOO what a ride!'"

Last year I didn't play. But then I wished I had when I read about all the gifts everybody got from everybody.

So, this year COUNT ME IN.

So, what is the spending limit, and does it count shipping costs?

I try to shoot for $25, but that rarely works. Shipping will vary greatly.
