    Happy Birthday michaelskis

    Happy Birthday michaelskis !

    Enjoy Your Day !
    Oddball
Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves?
Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here?
Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?
    From Kelly's Heroes (1970)

Are you sure you're not hurt ?
No. Just some parts wake up faster than others.
Broke parts take a little longer, though.
    From Electric Horseman (1979)

    Happy Birthday!!
"We do not need any other Tutankhamun's tomb with all its treasures. We need context. We need understanding. We need knowledge of historical events to tie them together. We don't know much. Of course we know a lot, but it is context that's missing, not treasures." - Werner Herzog, in Archaeology, March/April 2011

People will miss that it once meant something to be Southern or Midwestern. It doesn't mean much now, except for the climate. The question, “Where are you from?” doesn't lead to anything odd or interesting. They live somewhere near a Gap store, and what else do you need to know? - Garrison Keillor

    Happy belated to you, dude!!!
I'm sorry. Is my bias showing?

Let's not be didactic in this profession, because that is a path to disillusion and irrelevancy.

It was a good Birthday! The wife and I went up to Marquette to pay on the ski hill for several hours, then went to the local microbrew/ pub for dinner with the wife and parents.

Today, we bought a suburban. We realize that our needs for a vehicle will be changing soon.
Invest in the things today, that provide the returns tomorrow.

Does this mean you have "news" to share?

Happy belated! I didn't realize your birthday and mine are so close. We will have to have a drink on that.

BTW, a Suburban's a little large for only two...
SOME say the world will end in fire, Some say in ice.
From what I’ve tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice, I think I know enough of hate
To know that for destruction ice
    Is also great
    And would suffice.

Mskis, it seems you may as well tell everyone now that you've already invited comment/spilled the beans......oh, and start a new thread when you do.
