    Celebrities who didn't age well

I think we can agree that Paul Newman and Robert Redford have aged pretty well. Ron Woods and Steven Tyler have not. Jack Nicholson, well he's pretty much what you'd expect and so is Phyllis Diller. So who else has negatively exceeded your aging expectations?

Note: RJ is not a celebrity.

I disagree. Steven Tyler has aged very well. Take a look at him in 1977 (pale with drug eyes) and take a look at him now (tan with more muscle and more life in his eyes) and he looks much better now than back then. He's also turning 60 this year and still does back-flips onstage...something I don't see David Lee Roth and other contemporaries from his era doing very much of anymore.

This is a trickier question than it might appear to be at first glance. Take Keith Richards for example......yes, he looks about 80 years older than what one might expect a man of his age to appear...BUT the verbage "has negatively exceeded your aging expectations" must also be taken into account. I would expect Keith Richards to be residing inside a casket, therefore he looks considerably younger than my expectations - you follow?
People will miss that it once meant something to be Southern or Midwestern. It doesn't mean much now, except for the climate. The question, “Where are you from?” doesn't lead to anything odd or interesting. They live somewhere near a Gap store, and what else do you need to know? - Garrison Keillor

I knew that using aging rockers was going to present a dilemma for someone like Maister who recognizes that actuarial tables are poorly suited to exceptions to the rule or illinoisplanner who is clearly an Aerosmith devotee and therefore somewhat biased. I was primarily referring to facial appearance, not overall physical condition.

JNA, are you so desperate for RJSA CM points that you want to acknowledge RJ as a celebrity? That would be a negative credit for inflating his ego.

I don't have a picture to post, but along the same lines as Brigitte Nielsen: Jeff Conaway (Bobby on "Taxi"). I think they are in the same rehab facility, actually.

Can't find them tonight... but abc news has some of Pamela Anderson looking pretty bad. And Cindy Crawford, with a real saggy tummy in a bikini.

It's gotta be bad to be a former "babe" and have these pics posted.

Helen Hunt and to be fair to the ladies, Mel Gibson. Slightly OT, one of the things I've thought must be hard about being a celebrity is seeing younger pictures of yourself being shown all over the place. Its bad enough seeing younger pictures of myself. Of course, throw multiple millions of dollars at me, I might be able to handle it.

Sorry, but Pam has a long way to fall to be considered looking 'pretty bad'.....However, if we take out the plastic surgey factor, how about Wayne Neuton?

I'll add James Garner to the mix. He was a handsome man back in the day (I'm talking Great Escape/Maverick days).
