On topic: Trying to get everything done at two houses this weekend so we can do a mid-week to mid-week dash from Texas to Michigan and back.

Long weekend down in Savannah, starting tomorrow (happy dance, happy dance), followed by walking into work Monday morning and turning in my notice (happy dance, happy dance).

Hanging out with the wife, the sister-in-law and her husband out near Lake Travis. Should be fun.

Nice...I am hoping to do that by summer's end.

Congratulations! So do you start before or after the July 4th holiday?

I was planning on spending tomorrow night in my Mom's apartment near Orlando, to more easily visit her in the retirement complex's health center. Last week my brother told me he took her t.v. for his youngest daughter. Today he tells me, bring soap. Why? "Uh, Sue (his wife) brought all the soap home." Hmmm... guess that means there will be no toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, laundry detergent, cotton balls (make-up removal devices), or dishwashing detergent, either. I'm trying to keep an open mind about the coffeemaker, jewelry, answering machine, DVDs and DVD player. I can't believe my brother is so cheap that he would steal my mom's soap!

Thanks! Before - the 23rd, actually...only giving one week notice, since my current employer shows folks the door as soon as they resign. No sweat, though - I'm taking over one large client (and that's literally all I'll work on for the first year or so - they pay to have someone available full time), so the first couple of weeks will be just getting up to speed and getting things set up at the house, since I get to work from home three or four days a week.

Kiss ass. And don't put that kind of pressure on me, either.

With ZG out of town this weekend, I'm developing an incredible hankering for grilled Italian sausages over polenta and tomato and bell pepper sauce. That's on the menu. They don't like it. Yummy in my tummy.

Isn't this an ugly thing about both of us being on Cyburbia? Sometimes we just don't go for the same things.

I thought you liked the sausage dish the first time I served it to you. Guess I didn't get the hint.

To live in NC you must pick your allegiances early:
UNC Chapel Hill - Duke - NCState - Wake - Other
From what I was told when I moved here, those are the only choices

    BTW - Congrats

Since moving to Indiana, I am still not a ND, Purdue, IU fan at all.
