    Sorry for the sequential posts.

Tomorrow night: Ron White, The Behavioral Problems Tour. Then I'm cutting off my skin tag.
    Saturday: Golf.
Sunday: Pressure wash the pool deck (maybe). Then cocktails by the pool and BBQ.

    A Cold Spring Weekend

Way below normal temperatures here in NW Ohio. No grilling this weekend. I remain, as you all know, a wimp of a Bear.

    Friday PM - Relaxation, USA.
Saturday - Work on taxes. Yuck.
Saturday PM - Whether or not Katie and I hit a bar/restaurant....Rolling Rock is in the plan.
Sunday - Work on De Noc, watch old movies.

The weekend will be filled with periodic "look-see" moments at NCAA roundball.

    The Bacon Party was awesome...

    BLTs
Pasta with mushrooms, pancetta, and alfredo sauce
White bean and bacon soup (my contribution)
    Bacon spanakopita
    Bacon baklava
    Bacon brownies
    Fried bacon

Bacon Party 2 coming in June.

Mrs. P made a killer sausage and bean soup and we ate in all weekend. Very good for a cold wet weekend.

Sausage and bean has to be my favorite variety of soup. Any chance you could share the recipe?

Got a call yesterday morning from a realtor saying he had a group that wanted a private showing of my house that's for sale. Spent 2 hours cleaning it all up and getting it "show" ready, left the house, and about 15 minutes before it was supposed to be shown he calls and says they cancelled. FML

At least my house is spotless, now.

Thursday, ZG's son in going out of town for a few days.
Friday, I'm taking the day off using incentive leave for all the blood I've donated. Pool time.
    Saturday, no plans. Pool time!
Sunday, morning golf. Afternoon by the pool!

With the kid gone through the weekend, there could be some hanky-panky by and in the pool. Weather forecast looks good.

If I donate enough blood, I may never have to go to work again! Wait, that didn't come out right.

And please...please tell me you'll be skinny dipping at 7 pools. I did...well, not with you or MW.

I am so excited about swimming with some sharks! Last time I was at Molokini I had the great pleasure of meeting a few juvenile white tip reef sharks. I am hoping to get to see a few more this trip.

Really? You swam in your birthday suit at 7 pools? Aren't there a ton of people there? Did you get arrested? I haven't been to 7 pools since 1996, and I didn't get naked then, but I did jump off some cliffs

Yep. Very few folks there. Off-season perhaps? Didn't get arrested.

    Get nude and swim....

Figure out how to get rid of the ~1 cubic yard of broken concrete currently piled in my side yard.

Dumper truck rental and hardfill dump here I come.

Off to our land! Trying to get out Friday night so we can have two nights. Got my work cut out for me - drywall taping a small cabin, trim work, painting, some repairs and framing work. And then, bike riding!

    Oh, and beer

Ah. I have been going through this exact same situation. The worst is when they just don't show and never call to cancel. Spend an hour and a half or more hanging out in a library or bar or something waiting for when they should be done and then come to find out they never even showed up. This happened to me on monday afternoon. Jerkoff realtors.

    Yup!

Actually, the very next day ANOTHER realtor called and wanted to show the house the next morning, so all my cleaning didn't go for naught (and they did show up)!

This weekend, I'll probably be watching some more NCAA basketball, plus I'll go out for drinks Friday night with some friends. Saturday, some friends of mine wanted to go push some cars around a parking lot (training for strongman competition) so I'll probably join them. Sunday, who knows? Probably getting rid of more stuff I don't need.

Just got back from a four day weekend at Frankenmuth. It was a gastronome's holiday and we enjoyed their famous chicken dinners, Rhine wines and German beers every day for lunch and dinner. Made the obligatory stop of Bronner's. Spent most of the remaining time watching Junior go nuts at the multiple swimming pools, and miniature golf. All in all a nice little off-season trek.
