    BRT loading areas

Does anyone know of any well-designed BRT loading areas (pre-pay waiting areas)? Especially ones in areas with considerable pedestrian congestion?

I've always thought Curitiba's bus tubes were kind of neat, though I've wondered how practical they would be. Is this an "on-street" BRT or separated running way? I would look at good LRT designs as well, they share some commonalities.
