Hello All,



Iowa Great Places is holding regional forums March 31-April 1 to
reintroduce the program and provide informational sessions for
prospective applicants. The sessions are FREE. Any interested persons
may attend any or all of the sessions, even if they do not plan to
submit a proposal. Those Places planning to submit a Great Places
proposal in 2008 are required to send at least one person to one of the
four forums.



Topics:

-IA Great Places program & application process overview

-Community visioning

-"Greening" Great Places

-Marketing & Advertising

-Fundraising



Locations:

-March 31st in Storm Lake

-April 1st in Corning

-April 2nd in West Union

-April 3rd in Albia

deadline is March 26th and can be submitted at www.iowagreatplaces.gov
<http://www.iowagreatplaces.gov/> . For those attending the forum in
Storm Lake, a significantly discounted rate at the King's Point
Waterpark Resort is available for the night of March 30th or 31st, just
ask for the Great Places rate.
