Community and Regional Planning at Temple University

I am considering Temple. Has anyone heard anything about how its program and graduates are regarded by members of the planning community?

I'm considering Temple too. I've heard very positive things about it. It sounds like it's focused more on policy than design. The faculty are mostly, if not all, practitioners from the field, as opposed to academics. They also specialize in environmental issues. They're associated with the Center for Sustainable Communities. And from what I've heard, they're highly regarded in the planning community.

Thanks for your reply, planningPHL. You are right about Temple being policy focused. The program provides an opportunity to take a design course through the undergrad program. Even though lacking in design, given the program's overall strengths and low cost, it seems to be the best deal in town.
