Happy B-day - I guess you're planning on RJing today about 2:00 (but why is that different from any other day?)

    Happy Birthday, dude!
You get all squeezed up inside/Like the days were carved in stone/You get all wired up inside/And it's bad to be alone

You can go out, you can take a ride/And when you get out on your own/You get all smoothed out inside/And it's good to be alone

Darn, of all people, I forgot today is your birthday!

Now that I think back, your joints were doing a bit more snap, crackle and pop than usual when you shuffled off to the shower this morning...

    Happy Birthday!

Happy birthday. I would make a feeble attempt to kid you about your age or being a April Fools baby, but I don't know you well enough to twist your tail.

    So Happy Birthday!

I could have sworn that we already did this in December, but...maybe I'm just getting too old to remember accurately. (Seeing as how I'm about a week older than RJ. No, really.)

    April Fool's.

It's not my birthday. I'll change back to the correct date. But you must admit, I don't look a day over 82. Close the thread.

You don't even look a day over 95.
But wait is that your age, post count in the hundreds, golf score, or pool temp ?

    Hah !!!

This Bear almost fell for it. I was all set to send you the normal silly pun-filled greeting, comment about your advancing age, question your loving spouse's decision-making, and place the cell phone on "alert" in case all the candles on the cake started a fire.

Common sense (calling Mr. Paine) prevailed, though. Now your flickering candles (still somewhat afire because at your advanced age, birthday or not, the only wind you possess is in the back) are melting the cake (calling Mr. Webb), dripping wine-flavored icing all over your pretty tiled floor and your "oops, forgot to move them" ugly-as-sin slippers.

Good thing for you I didn't fall for it.
