People will miss that it once meant something to be Southern or Midwestern. It doesn't mean much now, except for the climate. The question, “Where are you from?” doesn't lead to anything odd or interesting. They live somewhere near a Gap store, and what else do you need to know? - Garrison Keillor

I'm sorry. Is my bias showing?

Let's not be didactic in this profession, because that is a path to disillusion and irrelevancy.

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves?
Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here?

Gainer Bayou, FL (Reuters) – Abandoning traditional design and marketing methods, Billy Joe ofos tries a new tactic: Retro Personal Water Craft rentals. Explains ofos, “I hunted up some stuff around the back of the single-wide, hosed it off, put all the pieces together that fit, and I’m sure folks will take a likening to my ‘vention.” Ofos goes on the say that he’s so confident of the success of his business that he plans on selling-out after two years and “live off the fat o the land. Just me and cousin Emma Lou and our love child Maister.”

Gainer Bayou, FL (Reuters) – In a pathetically obvious attempt to cash in on the ofos RPWC phenomenon, Rosie Jack "RJ" Dufus brought out his own line of single user water craft, the CRAPPER. "How wuz I to know she wouldn't float?", RJ asked after seeing his home's prized porcelain throne headed for the bottom. "Dayam, ZG's gonna be hot when she sees that hole in the floor." Standing here beside the successful ofos Water Craft rental unit, RJ admitted defeat saying "Guess it's back to cuttin chum at Maister's Bait Shop." Gracious as always, when ofos was asked about the futile attempt at competition, he just smiled and said, "Well, you do have to consider that it was RJ, bless his heart."
