    UD standard in Melbourne

    Hi,
    Does anyone know where to get info about Urband Design standard that used in Melbourne, VIC, AUS? Please kindly let me know if you know. I used google to find but it showed all unmatched.

    You can find their new UD Guidelines here: http://www.melbourne.vic.gov.au/info...a=1593&pg=3267.

    That link is on Melbourne's City Council web-site. You can poke around there to see their Planning Scheme, Heritage Provisions etc. If you are mainly interested in UD, you may have a particular interest in the Docklands material.

    Planning for Melbourne is a shared responsibility between MCC and the Victorian State Government through their Department of Planning and Community Development. I understand this relationship is not always a happy one and is currently under review (I don't live in Victoria and planning intelligence from down there into my home state is sporadic).
