Senior Tour, here I come. I'm almost there.

EDIT: I just turned on the AT&T Pro Am from Pebble Beach. Weather looks great on the Central Coast.
You might ask Tiger how his golf clubs are helping to solve his problems lol.....

We played the front nine in 2-1/2 hours and bagged it. Normally we finish a round of 18 in about 3-1/2 hours. Thankfully, the winter rates ended today so the cheap bastard Canuckistanians will now head north and leave the course to the locals. (Sorry, cheap bastard Canuckistanians.) Member rates remain at $21.41.

First nice weekend in a while here and we played our captians choice Artice Blast. Our team won with a 58 (or 13 under). Prize was a nice little gift card at the pro shop. Not enough to buy another set of clubs for RJ.

Played pretty good for having a 3 week layoff. I'm going to keep trying a new trick, warm up on the driving range before the round with earbuds in, jamming with the ipod.

    Bay Hill Invitation random

You could play Arnold Palmer, with Arnold Palmer, drinking an Arnold Palmer.

Not even Jack or Tiger could match that I reckon.

(translation: play in Arnold Palmer's Tournament the Bay Hill Invitational, in a group including golfer Arnmold Palmer, while drinking a lemonade and iced tea which is called an Arnold Palmer Tea)

I don't know about you, but I think being immortalized by having a drink named after you is better than having a smelly/noisy airport or musty old library bearing ones' name.
People will miss that it once meant something to be Southern or Midwestern. It doesn't mean much now, except for the climate. The question, “Where are you from?” doesn't lead to anything odd or interesting. They live somewhere near a Gap store, and what else do you need to know? - Garrison Keillor

And I can't hit the long irons worth a damn. So what to I do today? Buy a new driver. Brilliant.

The Big Bertha Diablo with the long red shaft hits the course next weekend. This is sure to correct my score, right?

My wife found a giant "golf net" at a garage sale a couple weeks ago.
Combined with my new lower deck patio, good tunes and cheaper beer. I have my own driving range...
Its funny to watch my dogs wait. They see a ball. They see me hit it, but then something stops it from going across the yard...

I'll be there at lunch (but with no beer).

I see no flaw in your logic.

I'm not sure what a "bucket list" is but if it means we play a round together, you can be sure there will be no highlights shown on Sports Center. The viewing public will be saved from that horror.

A list of stuff you want to do before you kick the bucket. Hence the term "bucket list".

And you are correct. Here's my new club.

I hit it very well last week and shot a 43 on the back nine (don't ask about the front nine ). I didn't even take it on the driving range first. In fact, I'm not exactly sure where the driving range is.

The Man used it twice last weekend and ordered his own. Diablo dos hits the course this weekend.

    They call me el Diablo!!!!

I'm RJ-ing out Friday with a 10:50 tee time (YAY - 95 degree heat for the back nine!!!)...it'll be the first time I've been out on a course in about six months...I'm predicting all sorts of ugliness.

A local boy done good! Scott Langley, a golfer for the University of Illinois just won the NCAA individual championship and qualified for the US Open in the same week! He'll be joining fellow U of I alum Steve Stricker in the big tournament. Look for young Mr. Langley to be playing alongside the big boys on the PGA tour very soon.

You are gonna melt in the GA sun & humidity! Just remember, a bad day golfing is better than a good day at work.
