Hello all, first time poster.
Quick question about facade programs: Does anyone live, or work for a municipality that utilizes a facade program that is funded strictly from the general budget? Need examples I can refer to that don't use funding from a TIF or other funding method.
Lockport, Illinois takes it strictly out of their general budget, per their ED professional.
Arizona does not allow for TIF districts so the facade grant programs are always funded through other means. Some use CDBG dollars, and others use general funds.
Chnadler AZ has a facade grant and a builidng improvement program alll funded by the general fund.
