    New from Michigan...

    Hello everyone,

I am the Zoning Administrator for the City of Big Rapids (home to Ferris State University for those of you who have heard of it).

I took over about two months ago, prior to this I served as an Assistant to the City Manager for a small lakefront community.

The forum got me excited to think that I may be able to get some help or insight on dealing with over occupancy and other issues related to having student housing.

    Thanks,
    Julius

Welcome from a former Michigander here in Chicagoland!!
I'm sorry. Is my bias showing?

Welcome from the Hoosier State, along the Ohio River.

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves?
Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here?
Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

No. Just some parts wake up faster than others.
Broke parts take a little longer, though.

    Hello, from Dallas, TX!
"We do not need any other Tutankhamun's tomb with all its treasures. We need context. We need understanding. We need knowledge of historical events to tie them together. We don't know much. Of course we know a lot, but it is context that's missing, not treasures." - Werner Herzog, in Archaeology, March/April 2011

Welcome from the other side of the state. I still remember the summers during high school when I would go to FSU for tennis camp... Ahh, those were the days!
