Keck & Wood, Inc. is holding an APA approved certified maintenance GIS
class on July 14-15 at our office in Duluth Georgia. The class offered
will be ESRI's Introduction to ArcGIS I. This 2 day class introduces
students to the basic functions of ESRI's ArcGIS desktop software
including ArcView, ArcEditor and ArcInfo. The class has been approved
for 16 CM credit hours which is half of what those wishing to maintain
their AICP certification need during their two year cycle.



This class is not just limited to AICP certified planners seeking
continuing education credits. It is open to anyone. Many States and
other organizations will accept this class as PDH and CEU credits for
professional registration and certification. This includes but is not
limited to the GISP certification from the GIS Certification Institute
<http://www.gisci.org> and the CFM certification from the Association
of State Floodplain Managers <http://www.floods.org> .
