    Key West FL (Broadband)

From our brief trip to the Conch Republic. Enjoy. I've said it before, I'm not a good photographer.

    At the airport.

    Around town.

And last but not least, for my Cyburbian friend over in Tallahassee.

    Ha ha ha....

Great pics....place looks cleaner everytime I see it latley. I used to go there twenty-five years ago and there was this biker bar across the bridge....oh, never mind.

Was that 'Flying Monkeys' the name of the bar? Did you get me a tee-shirt?

I love key west...I see you got a picture of an eyebrow house (built to withstand hurricanes) and a shot gun house. Gotta love the local architecture!

I have been the Flying Monkeys Saloon, if I recall, its tucked away behind an outdoor restaurant on Duval.

I was tired and half in the bag last night and left a couple off.

The southern most point. The Europeans off the cruise ships were politely standing in line to have pictures taken. I waited until there was a break in the action.

Better than sex dessert restaurant. Well, not really.

Let me describe Monday to you. The kid and I walked a block to McDonald's for breakfast, went back to the hotel and collected RJ for the day, took a taxi to Old Town. Visited the Mel Fisher museum, walked west on Caroline for an early lunch at Pepe's, which required a diagonal and very very very long walk in 95 d. weather to the "southernmost point". There were no cabs. Hiked the interminable blocks back to town, found a cab by the museum and sent the kid back to the hotel. Stopped for drinks. Strolled. Stopped for drinks. Saw a t-shirt in a shop with "The Bars of Key West"; Flying Monkeys was one. "Well where the s*it is that?" Strolled. Turned around. Halfway back on Duval RJ says "Wait!". Took the pic. It was a death march. I am sorry. Buying a t-shirt was not on my radar. But I wish I had thought of it.
