    New Addition to TexanOkie Household!

Nope, we're not pregnant. I am, however, a daddy now. Mrs. TO and I adopted a 2-year-old corgi/retriever mix this weekend. His name is Smoky. Here's some pictures: http://www.flickr.com/photos/2713738...7606809169124/

He's a very-well behaved dog (so far). We went to look at him Friday on our way from Austin to Oklahoma and wound up getting him and taking him with. He did really well in the car and was good with our nephews and niece. Sweet dog. Wife's happy. Maybe now she won't mind staying in more often.

Good choice. Both of mine are Golden Retriever mixes and they've got that sweet disposition. You make a lot of friends in the neighborhood when you walk a non-threatening poochito. Make it a practice to have little kids ask their parents if it's o.k. to pet your perro. Even a good doggie may growl or snap if tired of young-uns in their face.

Congrats on the new pup ... and congrats on rescuing a "pound pup" at that! My last three dogs have been rescues, and I wouldn't have any other kind. Big thumbs up!

    Good doggie!

See if he'll wear that Rangers hat.
