Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves?
Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here?
Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

Is it possible to use the phrase "soft Corinthian Leather" without sliding into the Ricardo Montalban accent?

I'm sorry. Is my bias showing?

Let's not be didactic in this profession, because that is a path to disillusion and irrelevancy.

Would you believe I actually had a Cordoba? My dad got it for me when I was home for spring break in '76. It was blue with a white half top. White leather interior. Tiny trunk, though... I named it "Ferdinand". (from the bull in the children's story....)

Now I'll never have the chance to stand next to Ricardo and say "De plane! De plane!"

Sorry, Mr. Montalban, but you were on my list. Woo hoo!

Do you think Tatoo was standing beside him yelling, "De grim reaper! De grim reaper!!"?

I believe that Ricardo Montalban required a taller person to utter that phrase.

Legendary Texas developer Trammell Crow died last night at age 94. In the 1970's, Trammell Crow almost transferred the entire city of Dallas north 15 miles. He was also responsible for a lot of the quirks in Austin (especially the miniscule parking spaces at major upscale retail establishments).

'Lost in Space' actor Bob May dies at 69
    http://www.usatoday.com/life/people/...may-obit_N.htm

May's robot was the Robinson family's loyal sidekick, warning them of approaching disaster at every turn. His line to one of the children, Danger, Will Robinson, became a national catch phrase.
How many times have you said that line ?

Yep, and two other lines from that show I've quoted on occasion are:
