Graduate opportunities

Hi,

I have a Masters in town planning from the UK.I recently had to move back to Ireland after working in a planing consultancy for 8 months.I am now in a position where i can relocate again and have decided that Australia is the best option-There is absolutely no jobs in Ireland due to the economy being in the dumps.

What I want to now is,how easy would it be to secure a job before i leave.I have looked at golden pages and bookmarked some of the bigger consultancy websites,and will email them nearer the time.I'm also registered with a number of other sites.I dont want to be in the position where i move out there and cant find any work. Has anyone got any tips,best place to go,any websites i may not know about etc?

If anyone could point me in the right direction I would be extremely grateful.

opan you should be able to find some interesting opportunities. There remains a shortage of planners in Australia - accute in Western Australia. Whether you can confirm an appointment without an employer meeting you in the flesh is really up to the employer - some possibility but most will want to meet you at least via a teleconference, first.
