    LEED shopping centers

Is there an actual LEED certification for shopping centers yet? Or do shopping centers that are LEED-certified currently get classified under "Retail" or some other category? I am doing research on the Trader Joe's development in Monterey, CA and I am searching for a similar development to compare it with. The Trader Joe's center is the first LEED shopping center in California, and I'm not sure where the others are located. If you happen to know of any that are not on the west coast of the United States, please let me know. Thanks!

it would fall under LEED for New Construction if they own the building.

Commercial Interiors if they lease, and do not have control over things such as mechanicals and such.

I doing a LEED certified shopping center in the Boston area. I can share the credits with you if you contact me. Too much to write here. In Boston, all development 50ksf and greater must be LEED certifiable.

Here's one in Grand Rapids, MI that was built in 2005:

Grand Rapids has more LEED certified buildings per capita than any other city in the US. You might want to check out the others:

SOME say the world will end in fire, Some say in ice.
From what I’ve tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice, I think I know enough of hate
To know that for destruction ice
    Is also great
    And would suffice.
