I am afraid to admit that there is a story a bit like this in my own family history. I'm not clear on how these folks relate to me, but there were clippings about it in my grandmother's home and they share a surname with her mother, so I am guessing this was a cousin and aunt of hers. This all took place in the early 1900s.

Evidently one of my male relatives was a rail worker killed by a train in western PA (Connelsville area). His mother, upset about the whole affair, would visit the site of his death with flowers regularly. A little over a year after her son was killed, she was also hit by a train near the same spot and killed. There was some speculation in the article about whether it was suicide, but who knows. If it wasn't, it calls into question why she would go on a regular basis to such a dangerous place and not expect to be in danger herself.

Regardless, it makes for a good story...

You do know that he actually was a Nazi right? Don't get me wrong, I don't think he is necesarilly an evil war criminal. But he served in the Hitler youth and then in Hitlers army. I think factually speaking he actually was a nazi.

Should've called him a former nazi to be completely accurate.

I heard it was an "animal farm" and that the owner released the animals then killed himself.

My favorite stupid person was a woman during the 2004 hurricanes in central Florida. When the power was out for most of my county for a week (and then a week, then half a week) the county had to power a number of traffic signals with generators. This brain surgeon disconnected a traffic signal at the intersection of two arterials from the generator, and plugged in an extension cord from the generator to her townhome. A few calls from the public, an easy trail for the cops, and she was in the slammer.

Lucky for her there weren't any major accidents or she could have been charged with some really bad stuff.
