    New to Cyburbia

I am new to the forums on Cyburbia and already have spent way too much time in the middle of the night reading them....what a nice find. Can't believe I have not gotten involved before! I do strategic planning and urban planning with a small firm in the Southeast U.S. I am interested in citizen participation processes, using new technologies in planning processes, university district planning, food shed issues, cultural arts, planning education and mid-sized cities. Oh yes and traditional Irish music and Jack Russel Terriers.

    Welcome Ann

Welcome to Cyburbia, Ann Coulter. Even though I am not a planner by trade, there have been many middle-of-the-night walks that I have taken down the enlightening sidewalks of this place we call Cyburbia.

We look forward to your posts......posts that touch on the planning side and the occasional posts that let those of us who hang here to get to know what you are all about.

    Nice to see you here.

    Hello, from Dallas, TX!
"We do not need any other Tutankhamun's tomb with all its treasures. We need context. We need understanding. We need knowledge of historical events to tie them together. We don't know much. Of course we know a lot, but it is context that's missing, not treasures." - Werner Herzog, in Archaeology, March/April 2011

Welcome from the Hoosier State, along the Ohio River.

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves?
Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here?
Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

Are you sure you're not hurt ?
No. Just some parts wake up faster than others.
Broke parts take a little longer, though.

Wow, one of my favorite conservatives has joined up! Welcome from the far northwest suburbs of Chicago! We look forward to your posts.
