    Planning positions in Toronto and Vancouver

    Hello

    I'm a planning student, and Australian resident hoping to eventually find work in either Toronto, Vancouver or Halifax in a planning or related field.

    I'd appreciate any advice on any of these things;

    - getting sponsorship
    - skills and specialisations in demand in Canada's bigger cities.
    - degrees required
    - private vs public sector

    And basically what it's like in Canada's planning world, and how tough it is to get a job as a foreigner over there.

    Any insights appreciated. Thanks

    Jane

    All I can tell you is there is more public sector jobs than private in the planning field, for getting a sponser, if you have family or friends in Canada they should be able to sponser you. Im considering the same thing for the States, I can get a sponser easyly, just dont know about if my college diploma thing will be accepted in the States.
