I think what we are seeing here is a demonstration of the Heisenberg Principle, which states that if a cat is in a box, and you open it, it may be dead or it may jump out and claw you in the face. This is related to the Jack-in-the-Box principle, whereby you may eat a hamburger that kills you, or you may catch e-coli.
In other words, once a particle's momentum is known, you cannot know its position, and vice-versa, meaning that the only way to know is not to know, or moreso that un-knowing is knowing, and that the unknown is all that one needs to know. Ipso facto, ignorance is the highest state of being.
How do I know this? Because I don't.
Quite frankly, that one post......awhile back.....was the one.
Bear
I've been thinking about it for quite a while now and I think I may do it. Has anyone here done it and can you give me a few pointers? Try to be specific.
“Death comes when memories of the past exceed the vision for the future.”
The thing with doing that thing is that the other thing usually has to be done first, unless that other guy did his thing first, which negates the purpose.
Speaking of balderdash.....
One hen
Two ducks
Three squawking geese
Four limerick oysters
Five corpulent porpoises
Six pair of Don Alverzo's tweezers
Seven thousand Macedonians in full battle array
Eight brass monkeys from the ancient sacred crypts of Egypt
Nine apathetic, sympathetic, diabetic, old men on roller skates with a marked propensity towards procrastination and sloth
Ten lyrical, spherical diabolical denizens of the deep who hall stall around the corner of the quo of the quay of the quivery, all at the same time.
Bear
How can anyone think that?

C'mon and get me you twist of fate
I'm standing right here Mr. Destiny
If you want to talk well then I'll relate
If you don't so what cause you don't scare me
Have you been there and how was it ?
I was just there a few days ago I think it was alright? And you?
I tried to go there but got lost. I think I was going in circles but it's hard to tell in the fog.
“Death comes when memories of the past exceed the vision for the future.”
I was there briefly and from what I was able to see, it looks like fun.

"Budweiser sells a product they reflectively insist on calling beer." John Oliver
Yeah, I had one just like that, in a way, but it's gone now, I think, except for this, and the rest of it. Or was that yesterday the other day? Anyway, it always happens to me sometimes, like the other time. Remember?
What was that I was saying???![]()
See, here's the thing - if you keep doing things the same way it not only gets old hat quick but it makes you predictable. Try to keep 'em off balance by doing unexpected things once in a while. That'll keep them on their toes.
People will miss that it once meant something to be Southern or Midwestern. It doesn't mean much now, except for the climate. The question, “Where are you from?” doesn't lead to anything odd or interesting. They live somewhere near a Gap store, and what else do you need to know? - Garrison Keillor
It was I that had the loaded rifle.
Just like that dude, who plays guitar, on that song, you've heard it - yep exactly.

I wouldn't be too sure about that. I mean, what are any of us here for, really?

Who's that?
Who?
That guy.
Which guy?
That guy over there.
Where?
(pointing in a general direction)
I don't know.

"He defended the cause of the poor and needy, and so all went well. Is that not what it means to know me?" Jeremiah 22:16
You should have seen and heard what I just did.
