I was "this close" to putting dog turds in the box of office supplies. He left about an hour ago. Good riddance.

    Chet --

My condolences (in solidarity, I tossed a few bills that might as well go to collections) -- I'm in the same boat...and going private may be the thing to do in this climate.

Daydreaming about becoming your community's most lethal/ascerbic planning/political gadfly at public meetings and hearings is fun (when you have a few spare moments while looking for work)... Knowing what you know about your department, there are all kinds of fun things to daydream about saying during your 3 minutes of public comment...

Wow, that sucks. Good luck in your future indeavors.

I threw a kleenex in the garbage can and launched a post-it note pad across the room. Sorry, I'm at school and there's not a whole lot of office supplies out and about to throw around.

Didn't throw anything but I did beat the ice off my car with a rubber soled shoe.
better the shoe than my hand because it was so thick.

Dog turds? really? They already fired you, why don't you make them yourself. Nothing says you care like something you made yourself.

    Seriously, sorry to hear that.

I tossed my cookies in solidarity. Tonight, I'm going to throw some bricks through storefront windows, while shouting RODNEY KING! RODNEY KING!

Bills in collection: thanks to several months of unemployment, I'm getting calls too. Until I get re-established, the next few months are going to be rocky.

Jeez, Chet, that sucks. Sounds like you had a healthy reaction, though. Good luck.
