    Color codes for transect-based plan

Does anyone know if there's a standard color code system for transect-based plans? I cannot find one on the LBCS portion of APA's site.

    Thanks.

AFAICT there is not, and I made my own when I last did a plan with a transect, Green for T1 and dark brown for T5 (no T6).

    Transect Zone Color Scheme

There is a standard color scheme for Transect Zones, based on the plans of the 1930's and pre-WWII practice, when intensities of mixed use - rather than segregation of uses - were assumed. It includes purples and mauves. If you will contact me off list I will give them to you in RGB, which have more saturation and are easier to distinguish. Be sure your printer settings are correct!

The prismacolors are T1- Olive Green, T2 - Celadon Green, T3 - Greyed Lavender, T4 - Lavendar, T5 - Parma-Violet, T6 - Black Grape, Special District - Indigo Blue. Because these colors have little variability and the prismas are hard to find we are working now to update them.

I am new to Cyburbia, or would post a few links...

    Thanks!
