    Z's Announcement...

Waited a couple days to be sure, and it is still early on, but I am happy to announce that a new addition (not another crazy, fence climbing dog) is due for my family in October or November.

The Doc confirmed this yesterday (not wonder my mind was all kerfuffled).

I am excited, proud, anxious and nervous all at the same time.

Congrats! I bet this one learns how to climb fences too. Might take a few more years than the dog to figure it out, though

    Congrats Z!

Our two little people will only be about 1-2 months apart. The bad part about a fall baby is being stuck in the house with an infant through the winter - talk about cabin fever.
I'm sorry. Is my bias showing?

I'll knock a few back tonight for you in celebration. Not that I really need a reason to have a few adult beverages.

Oh hell......you know what I mean. Congrats brother!

Have a boy's and a girl's name already. (need middle names though)

*I predict a girl to be born on my birthday (Nov. 8) as I had a dream about that a year or two ago.* However, all family signs point to having boys. Regardless, it'll be one or the other.

mendleman, the part about Colorado's Front Range is that our mild winters allow for outside activities throughout the winter. You and your brood are more than welcome to leave Chicago and actually see the sun from Oct-Apr. in Colorado.

Thanks all. Sorry I have been cranky of late, I keep thinking about all this and reading up on it (true to my nature) and I am super excited.

Well, we have enough sun. It's just that the temps barely get over 10 F for about a month and a half.
