    Shade tree program in California

Is their a city in California that has a tree shade program for the residents to receive a tree, that are able to plant to tree in the “front yard” not in the city pathway right-away next to the street. If so how is the program funded? What grants were offer to the city? Does the tree shade program receive funds from Tree City USA? Thank You

The slightest homework effort should have found the Sacto Tree Foundation, partnered with SMUD. That is all Cafinest needs to know right there. They are very helpful at the STF, give them a call.
