Since globalization has spread throughout the world - leaving no city behind - claims have been that it unites the world. We all know that our world is not a united one; one has to open the news, watch the wars, and see how much un-united our world is. However globalization does tend to build networks amongst cities, social networks, informational ones, economical ones...etc
Whilst this is going on, isn't it also creating divisions within cities, creating new structural divisions? Perhaps we cannot see the wall for these divisions; however an invisible wall is present. Not everyone within the City is part of the network, and this in my opinion fragments the city, what is your opinion on this?
