Most all baby animals are cute, but that is a very short period in their lives.

It would be toss up for me. But since I am mildly allergic to cats and don't intend to get another dog after my current pooch departs, I can safely say, "Maister, you have truly hit a new low!"
I'm sorry. Is my bias showing?

Let's not be didactic in this profession, because that is a path to disillusion and irrelevancy.

They both may be more tender, but there's not enough meat on them to make the cleaning worth it.

It started with the shirt thread,

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves?
Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here?
Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

No. Just some parts wake up faster than others.

I've never had a puppy, but I have had kittens. It's a toss up. Dogs and cats have very different traits.

I prefer puppies, cats fight too much and claw you when you try to drown them.

Kittens are cuter than puppies. Here is a pic the three (along with their mama) that I rescued from a nearby park last summer. I found homes for all three and kept Mama.

There is nothing cuter than a foal, though -- all legs and eyes and ears and whippy tail!

They are both cute. You missed that option.

Oh! That was the point of the poll!
It is all a matter of perspective!!!

You can train dogs to go outside, cats train you to be their restroom attendant. Puppies are better chick magnets. There's really no contest.

Oh, my actual vote? Maister's new low, no doubt it's only a temporary attainment though.

I generally find puppies cuter than kittens, though I find adult cats cuter than most adult dogs. Kittens just have freakishly large heads, kind of like human babies - the heads of puppies are never quite as out-of-proportion to the rest of their body

Giant Pandas are members of the family Ursidae! (well okay, quibbling about Linnean classification of mammals probably qualifies as a new low)
