    Yucky ice cream flavors

What is the least enticing flavor of ice cream you can think of? I mean, based on actual edible items, as opposed to things like motor oil and cockroach poo.

Thinking about it, it occurs to me that even normally yummy foods like chili or potato soup might not translate so well into the world of ice cream.
People will miss that it once meant something to be Southern or Midwestern. It doesn't mean much now, except for the climate. The question, “Where are you from?” doesn't lead to anything odd or interesting. They live somewhere near a Gap store, and what else do you need to know? - Garrison Keillor

Puts me in mind of my very favorite Monty Python skit - The Whizzo Chocolate Factory - which of course is not about yucky ice cream but disgusting chocolates.

In my house the absolute impossible ice cream flavors would be brussel sprouts or anything involving coconut.

That's actually one of my favorites.

Anyone remember the Bass-o-Matic? This kind of reminds me of that.

I recall a few years back, while I was taking a few classes at a local two-year college, the campus' feminist-activist group was distributing their own version of molded chocolates....

(I... ...think that I'll pass on those )

Anyways, When I was a kid, my parents, in their usual absent-minded way, placed a poorly sealed bag of onions in the freezer - right next to a BIG box of vanilla ice cream.

Add American bacon (a food that I LOVE - in moderation, of course) to the onions and it becomes a flavor combination that has always made me nearly wretch.

What's wrong with that?? Sounds like it might be good to me.

I saw on TV last weekend on Food Network or Travel Channel - or one of those - about this place in Denver (I think) that whips up some strange flavors. They will even encase pints or quarts in dry ice and ship them to ya.
