My name's David and I'm an undergraduate political science student from UNF in Jacksonville looking forward to going to graduate school for planning. I've enjoyed stealing knowledge from these forums before, so I figured I might as well have the decency to register and introduce myself.
If anyone's cares to know, I'm most interested in using planning as a tool for poverty alleviation, but I would very much like to eventually gain the knowledge of an experienced generalist to best recognize how this goal could be realized. I'm a big fan of regional approaches and I did a research paper on "Fiscal Regionalism and Metropolitan Poverty Pockets in the United States" that I'm going to be presenting at the ACSP conference in October.
I'm also a big fan of raccoons, chocolate pie and dystopian novels.
Thanks for humoring me and I look forward to discussing planning with all of you.
