    Teec Nos Pos, AZ

Teec Nos Pos (pronounced "teese NOSS poss") is a fairly typical example of a community on the Navajo Reservation. There's not much to it, mostly just a trading post, post office, and school. (The school isn't in these pictures but the store and post office are.) Its main claim to fame is that it's the nearest community to the Four Corners Monument.

I just went through there a couple of weeks ago, nothing but a wide spot in the road as I tried to put Chinle further behind me...

I did stop by Four Corners, which was packed with people taking pictures of themselves at the monument. I took a bunch of pictures, but I didn't go up to the spot myself.
