I am with Mastiff. That way we slice into the heart of the infidels to the north and emerge in victory!

I figured as much. I may have to run two teams and deffer starting picks to the rest of the league when I play myself.

Weird, in past years we've had to turn people away and now no one wants in?

Could someone have a team in both divisions?

If you can't find someone to take your last team, I would be willing to run a team in the South Division in addition to my North Division team. I usually have multiple Yahoo leagues anyway. The likelihood I'd end up playing myself in the championship is extremely low.

I am a mislocated hick from southern Ohio, so I think I could fit in!

You could just end up PLAYING with yourself in the stooper bowl at the end of the season

    That would probably work best.

why couldn't we have just done 9 and 9 instead of 10 teams in one and 8 in the other

Then you'd have a team with a bye week every week, which would be no fun. And it might not work out that everyone plays the same number of games during the season. But I'm too lazy to actually do the math to see if that's true.

The North was back to ten teams before we knew Jeff couldn't play this year.
