    Halloween Costumes (if any)?

So... what is Cyburbia going to be for Halloween. if anything?

I am currently dressed in a pj set and robe with a name badge reading "Arthur Dent".

I was thinking the same thing. I am reading my son the Hitchhiker's Guide books at bedtime. When we go trick-or-treating tomorrow I am thinking as going as Arthur Dent.

The name badge is a good touch. I went as Dent at a party some years back and only a few people got it. Eventually I started telling people I was the neighbor from upstairs complaining about the noise.

I'm against Halloween. It indoctrinates our kids to expect handouts. Dam socialist holiday.

I'm dressed as one of the City Hall notables, Keith the Vacant Properties Officer. He rides his bike to work and frequently wears his bike helmet inside his office. So I borrowed a code uniform and am wearing my bike helmet. People seem to be getting a real kick out of it, including the real Keith.

I spent too much money at the Kentucky RenFest this summer, so I'm wearing that stuff. By virtue of that fact, I'm a pirate. Arrrgh!

I've got my IU football jersey on. I also got candy and put it out for the vultures today. My OM came dressed as witch, with a pretty elaborate costume. As for plans for the weekend-Rock Horror in a restored theater with some friends tonight. Corn maze down south with the church group.

I'm dressed up as Albany, NY. Maybe later I'll change into my 'entropy' or 'paliamentary procedure' costumes.

I'm stapling cereal boxes to myself, grabbing my tommy gun, and going as the Battle Creek Cereal Killer.

I tried to convince one of my skinny building inspectors to dress up like Gilligan and I'd wear a big blue shirt and captains hat saying "HEY LITTLE BUDDY." He didn't go for it.....

I'm thinking of going as a civil servant this year

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves?
Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here?
Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

Not dressed up today, but last week we had our annual halloween-themed community event. I was (and tomorrow will again be)...

Zeus, king of the gods, ruler of Mount Olympus and the god of the sky and thunder. But you all probably knew that about me.

    Don't make me smite you!

    Devil's Night

The guy posing with me does an "extra large leprechaun" schtick. Turns out we both went to the same evening-of party, independently deciding that one night of greasepaint was plenty.
