Gas meter placement for existing use
Does anyone have regs on where the gas company can replace a meter for an existing use? We are trying to limit them to be placed by the house, since many are in the front yard above ground near the curb..........thanks! John

A common rule is that the utility is responsible for the line in front of the meter, the property owner responsible for anything behind the meter. Good luck on getting them to change.
