Thanks to Phil Poorman for alerting me to this. The FCC issued a ruling last
week that establishes legal presumptions about how long it should take a local
government to act on applications for cell towers and antennas. A local
government that doesn't act within the appropriate deadline runs the risk of
being sued for "failure to act" in a timely fashion.
