I graduated last spring with a Masters in Urban Planning from an American university. I am married to a Kiwi who would like to return. Any NZ planners on? What are the planning opportunites in the Auckland area? Any good job sites you can reccommend? I have residency through my partner, so visa issues are already taken care of.

I too would like to know about planning in New Zealand. It appears planners are in demand as far as immigration is concerned. I am a Commonwealth citizen, which doesn't seem to help, but I do score enough points to go to New Zealand and search for employment. My wife lived in NZ for sometime, as did a former employer of mine, and both loved it.
Any advice to those who have practiced in the U.S. and are interested in the transition?
