    Hello from CO Springs

Hello all! I'm new here and wanted to get some help with applying for PhD programs next year. Any thoughts, suggestions, difficulty getting in, etc.
I have an BA in Landscape Architecture (3.33 GPA) and will be finishing up an MBA this yea (3.84 GPA) plus 9 years experience in private consulting doing land planning and landscape architecture. Thanks everyone and I'm looking forward to discussing the state of planning in today's development world.

    Howdy....

    Welcome.....

Not to mention the status of Colorado Springs shutting down the local parks system and deciding to not pave roads anymore.

Greetings from the Florida panhandle. (Where did I put that Florida non-smiley smilie?)
Dr. smallwine, PhD. That has a nice ring.

I, too, have a small wine affliction.
    Annoyingly insensitive

    The One,
Don't forget the homeless camps that have taken over our downtown creeks. The city just recently removed all trash cans from the all parks. Can't wait to see what happens with this...

Greetings, from a mere 1645 miles (2647 km) east-northeast (69.0 degrees) of you.
All these years the people said he’s actin’ like a kid.
He did not know he could not fly, so he did.

    Hello, from Dallas, TX!
"We do not need any other Tutankhamun's tomb with all its treasures. We need context. We need understanding. We need knowledge of historical events to tie them together. We don't know much. Of course we know a lot, but it is context that's missing, not treasures." - Werner Herzog, in Archaeology, March/April 2011

    Aloha smallwine,

Honolulu is doing equally ridiculous things to combat homelessness in high tourism districts. A few weeks ago they roped off strips of grass along the sidewalks and posted "maintenance - keep out" signs.

It will definitely get interesting in Colorado Springs. Keep us informed!

CO Springs just passed an ordinance banning camping on public land, but CSPD has said they won't enforce it. Pulblic policy at its finest
