    University of Washington

I have been accepted through email but nothing on financial aid. As of now Toronto is a cheaper program. I do like Washington though as it also offers a certificate in Historic Preservation. Does anyone have experience with their program?

    I'd like to know too.

Did you have a chance to visit the campus, talk to faculty by any chance? It's rated as a very good program, but financial aid is something that will play a large role in any decisions.

I would like to third this question.

University of Washington is not listed in the Planetizen guide and I am curious to know of its reputation amongst practitioners.

    Anyone?

    Sincere Thanks

They didn't participate in the 2009 survey, therefore were not ranked. They did in the 2007 and they were rated well.

I went to UW, where I studied geography and had a few interactions with the UP people. The department is well-funded, located right next to the heart of campus, and has a wide range of research interests among the faculty. UW also really stresses local/regional political/social interaction - and I would expect this to be a big facet of the UP program there. They also do a lot of environmental work... Just my 2 cents...
