The NEVERENDING Don Cherry Appreciation Thread

I think I'll just leave this here. I find Grapes, voted the 6th Greatest Canadian ever, to be much more entertaining than John Madden or any other American colour commentators. Sorry.

Canada is a place of infinite promise. We like the people, and if one ever had to emigrate, this would be the destination, not the U.S.A. The hills, lakes and forests make it a place of peace and repose of the mind, such as one never finds in the U.S.A.

Don Cherry is pretty interesting. He has been in some trouble, via his less-than-PC comments. Still interesting.

BTW - Long before he was a commentator, this Bear was watching Hockey Night In Canada, black and white TV, poor signal in Toledo, from Windsor's Channel 9. The good old days.
