    New plastic brick building

Hey guys, I've been hanging around Taiwan and there seems to be a Flora Expo here. Rumor has it, they're building a building out of plastic bricks!! So I took a trip to see the site, and I took some pictures. Check it out haha I think the building will be ready in November?

I found a link that shows an artist's rendering:

Look for the "Pavilion of New Fashion."

It's made out of Polli-Bricks from MiniWiz:

Essentially, it's just like building a structure out of recycled bottles:

    Polli-Brick Info

Looks like they are starting to show the Polli-Brick to the public. Check out this video from CES 2010. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NH5rp5FpT2o

well I guess its different from the usual metal cladding we usually see. Interestingly enough James May (from BBC topgear) had a house constructed totally from lego, thought I would mention it as I saw the word lego up above..

    I guess anything is possible.

    Polli-Brick Building

Sorry for being gone so long. I lost my password and had to re-register. I live in Taipei and the building is just about finished. It looks very interesting. You don't see the bricks themselves -- from a distance, anyway. I will try to get a picture next time I am in that neighborhood.
