This was as close to downtown as we got and where we ate lunch--Gott's. And y'all don't want to see the picture that my sister took of me huffing down a burger.
Dude, I can't be expected to do all the heavy lifting around here.

BTW, could I impose upon a MOD to correct my error in the link in the original post? Thanks in advance.

The lst pic reminds me of Belle Isle, our Fredrick Law Olmstead designed park on a 2,000 acre island in the middle of the Detroit River. The original name of the Island was Ille des Couchons. (Hog Island)

These are some great pics. Thanks for sharing.

Awesome. Love it. Mrs. H and I actually did a Cali wine trail for our honey moon back in '02. We enhoyed the Korbel plantation the best - great historic site/tour.

I've been to the Sonoma region once, it was really amazing. It is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to. It has that South European charm, the landscape reminds of France or Spain, I have to go there someday again because my memories are so great, I totally enjoyed the vacation there.

What a land of contradiction. Many cities in the region are infested with meth users and a severely depressed economy while the landscape leaves you breathless.

Love the pics. I have done Sonoma twice but never Napa. I loved Sonoma. Some day I'll get back over to Cali and tour Napa. My fondest memories of Sonoma involve falling asleep in the front lawn of one vineyard in order to sober up enough to drive...
