It seems right now and when the economy picks up is where most planning jobs will be. Is this true? I think cities don't have much job security as military planning has. Do large firms have better job security than the military and cities? Or is military planning all around safe? I heard the Department of the Navy is hiring a ton of planners.

Nonetheless, once we come to our senses and bring our folks back home, IMHO look for chunks of the military budget to come off and go somewhere else. It is true we will need to continue our policies to secure resources, but not at this scale.
