Hello to all and thanks for taking the time to read.
I was unsure as to where to post this topic and have done searches on the site about healthy general plans but came up empty handed.
Currently I am working as part of the Communities Purtting Prevention to Work grant (CPPW), which aims to develop policies, systems (food, transp, etc.) that fight obesity.
Specifically, my role is researching ways to implement "healthy general plans" that incorporate health policies and aspects into general plans. To do this I am first researching literature, best practices and any related information about the creation and implementation to have "healthy general plans".
I was wondering if anyone knew any good resources to use that would provide this type of information so I may get a deeper understanding. Currently I am using the phlp source which is "How to create and Implement Healthy General Plans" but I figure more than one book on "how to" is better than one.
Any ideas? All would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike
