    Greetings from Western Washington

Hi everyone - I'm a mid-career planner who has just joined Cyburbia for the first time. I don't know why it took so long! I live west of Seattle in a small coastal community on the Kitsap peninsula, and I'm primarily a shoreline development/land use planner in my current position. I've always worked in the public sector (federal/state/local planning). I'm mulling over the idea of making a crazy mid-life move to Alaska at the moment...Juneau, Anchorage perhaps. Would love to hear from anyone in my local area, or anyone with ideas or suggestions (or warnings!) about planning in Alaska.

Greetings from Central Arizona. I am often in the Seattle/Oylmpia/Bremerton area to visit family...by often I mean once every 3 years.

    Hello, from Dallas, TX!

I was in your area about 6 years ago. Really liked the weather - that summer there beat that summer here hands down! I don't know if that would hold true every year, though.

Of course we know a lot, but it is context that's missing, not treasures." - Werner Herzog, in Archaeology, March/April 2011
