Hi everyone - I'm a mid-career planner who has just joined Cyburbia for the first time. I don't know why it took so long! I live west of Seattle in a small coastal community on the Kitsap peninsula, and I'm primarily a shoreline development/land use planner in my current position. I've always worked in the public sector (federal/state/local planning). I'm mulling over the idea of making a crazy mid-life move to Alaska at the moment...Juneau, Anchorage perhaps. Would love to hear from anyone in my local area, or anyone with ideas or suggestions (or warnings!) about planning in Alaska.
