I'm sure you've all been waiting with bated breath, but it is looking more and more like Hong Kong and Singapore as the final destination. I know people have recommended against HK but having never been there I would like to check it out for myself.

The only bad part is that we would be travelling next July. When it will be 95F with 100% humidity. That will make for some lovely photos.

It will be steamy as all get out in July. Thankfully Singapore features many many places with A/C, even the subway stations. You appreciate that after having commuted on NYC's subway during the summer. You will have a good time.

Well, my wife and I honeymooned in Skagway Alaska, but, you know, not everyone has the kind of pull I do.

My wife and I went on an Alaskan cruise for our honeymoon, and the Salin Palin store in Skagway was our best un-highlight of the trip.

You stupid Americans, thinking that you enjoy the highest quality of life on the planet with your two weeks of paid vacation time! In Europe, according to EU Directive 2004-32456-Y, all workers in the EU are entitled to 12 weeks of paid holiday time per year. Such holiday time is needed after our admittedly grueling eight-hour work days (2.5 hours in the morning, three hour nap as mandated by EU Directive 1998-53276-, 2.5 hours in the afternoon, with the commute considered as work time). In my country, the Ministry For Health pays for one four-week holiday, which my partner Lna and I spent this year at Club Med in Madagascar. How many of you stupid Americans can say you've been to Madagascar, or that you've even heard of Madagascar? You probably think it's a stock car race, which of course would be inferior to our FIA World Championship.

I make spit on you and your stupid country, covering my mouth so Canada, Mexico and Cuba do not get hit. Ptui! Ptui!

50 days until we land in Hong Kong!

Flights have been arranged, hotels have been booked, loose itinerary has been developed, netbook has been ordered, new shoes have been purchased.

Now we just need our tax return and we're good to go!
