A friend of mine passed this week. His obituary says that, at one point in his life, he worked as a "redneck" on an oil rig. I'm pretty sure that they meant "roughneck" but there does tend to be a correlation there. Anyone else with obit humor?

It's funny in a way...and not so funny at the same time when you consider this lady's son was that bitter towards his mother.

I know someone that received a "condolence" card wishing "best of luck in your new location".

A good many years ago (it was my Dad that noticed it, and he's been gone more than 20 years himself), three individuals died on the same day. Their last names were Hardy, and two people with the name Harr. So, of course, reading down the column of the obituaries, you read, "Hardy, Harr, Harr..."
